After an incredible weekend at the plate, Nevada baseball’s Tyler Bosetti has been named the Wolf Pack Student-Athlete of the Week.

Bosetti had a phenomenal three games at the dish this past weekend against Air Force as he batted .667 and recorded a slugging percentage of .933. He collected a team-high 10 hits in his 15 at-bats and added four RBI, two runs scored and four doubles. All three of Bosetti’s games were multi-hit outings, including a 5-for-6 performance in the series finale win over the Falcons. His five hits not only set a single-game career-high, but are currently the most by a Mountain West player in a single game this season and are tied for second-most nationally. He also kicked off the series with a 3-for-3 performance in game one.

Additionally, Bosetti was part of an offense on Saturday that produced 15 runs on 23 hits. The Wolf Pack’s 15 runs are the second-most it has scored in a game this season, and its 23 hits bested its previous season-high by eight. To put in perspective the kind of day the Pack offense had at the plate, the last time the Wolf Pack produced 23 hits in a game was April 10, 2004 at Louisiana Tech. Bosetti was also flawless on defense posting a perfect fielding percentage and was 1-for-1 on the base paths.
