NEVADA
FIFTH YEAR (2021) – Appeared in all 13 games, 50 punts for 2250 yards with a long of 61 yards against San Jose State and an average of 45.0 yards per punt... Kicked 11 inside the 20, 20 inside the 50, and four touchbacks... Posted 81 kickoffs for 5,1110 total yards with 52 touchbacks... Punted season-high six times on two different occasions; first on Oct. 16 against Hawaii; second on Dec. 27 against Western Michigan... Averaged season-long 51.3 yards per punt against Boise State (Oct. 2). 

SENIOR (2020) – Named All-Mountain West Honorable Mention at punter ... saw action in seven contests, handling kickoff and punting duties ... Averaged 46.3 yards over 23 punts, with a long of 76 ... Had 11 punts of 50-plus yards, and 11 land inside the 20, with just one touchback ... Three of his five punts went for over 50 yards, with a long of 76, in the season-opener against Wyoming (Oct. 24) ... Averaged 55.2 yards over five punts, with all traveling over 50 yards and the longest going 63, and dropped four inside the 20, against San Diego State (Nov. 21) ... Was named Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance against the Aztecs.
 
JUNIOR (2019) – Served as Nevada’s kickoff specialist in 12 of the team’s 13 contests … Kicked off 56 times for a total of 3,323 yards … Averaged 59.3 yards per kickoff.
 
PRIOR TO NEVADA – Transfer from American River College where he played two seasons … Earned an associate’s degree in social sciences ... Ranked second in the state for kickoffs, averaging 61.4 yards per kick … Was 33-of-35 on PAT attempts and 12-of-14 for field goals.
 
HIGH SCHOOL – Graduated from Lincoln High School in northern California where he was a two-sport athlete in football and soccer … Helped his high school to a Pioneer Valley League championship … Earned first team all-league honors in 2017.
 
PERSONAL – Son of Betty and Jaime Diaz … Has two older brothers, Jaime and Giovanni … Human development and family studies major … Chose Nevada because it’s his dream school … Also recruited by Nicholls State, Oregon State, Texas State and Sacramento State … Lists Pat McAfee and Ronaldinho as his sports heroes … Enjoys hunting and spending time with his family in his free time.
