SENIOR (2019) – Playing both defender and forward for the Pack this season, appeared in 17 matches with two starts … Played a career-high 78 minutes in her final collegiate match at UNLV (11/1) … Recorded her only shot of the season, which also went on goal, against the Rebels … Finished with 443 recorded minutes on the season.

JUNIOR (2018) – Appeared in 15 matches on the season, totaling 248 minutes played … Recorded one shot and one shot on goal against San Diego State … Played a season-high 42 minutes at Weber State.

PRIOR TO NEVADA – Played soccer at Peninsula College from 2016-17 … Won the league both years and won the conference in 2016 … Named All-Academic in 2017 and was on student government the same year … Scored six goals and recorded two assists as a defender in 2017.

HIGH SCHOOL – Graduated from Reno High School in 2016 … Lettered in soccer all four years … Was named a first team defender from her sophomore year to her senior year … Her club team, the Lady Nomads, advanced to regionals in South Carolina during her sophomore year … Member of the National Honors Society.

PERSONAL – Majoring in community health science … Daughter of Bruce and Cecily Small … Father played football at the University of Wyoming … Has an older brother, Nicholas Ortega and sister Eleanor Small who also plays for Nevada soccer … Came to Nevada to play for her hometown and play with her former teammates Audrey Barham and Eleanor Small … Sports hero is Megan Rapinoe … Most memorable moment of her career was breaking the NWAC scoring record at Peninsula College … In her free time, enjoys working out, sketching, hanging out with family and spending time outdoors.
