SENIOR (2021-22) -- Played in two tournaments with the Wolf Pack during her senior season... Shot a career-low round (74) in the first round at the Fresno State Classic... Finished a season-best tied for 55 at The Gunrock Invitational... Made two birdies, one eagle, one hole-in-one, and 73 pars.
JUNIOR (2020-21) -- Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar ... Played in five of the Wolf Pack’s six events of the season … Averaged 77.57 strokes per round and played the season at 78-over par … Posted her best finish of the season, a tie for 15th, at the Mountain West Championship where she finished 11-over par … Her best tournament score to par was 7-over at the BYU Spring Classic … Carded a career-low 74 twice this season, at the BYU Spring Classic and the MW Championship … Totaled 22 birdies and 143 pars … Letter winner.
SOPHOMORE (2019-20 - Season shorted due to COVID-19) -- Did not play in any events.
FRESHMAN (2018-19) -- Mountain West Scholar-Athlete … Played in two events during her rookie season … Compiled a scoring average of 78.0 in her six rounds played … Shot a season-low 77 three times … Recorded her best finish of the two events, a tie for 43rd at 16-over par, at the Gunrock Invitational … Collected eight birdies and 63 pars on the year.
HIGH SCHOOL -- Graduate of Lincoln High School in Stockton, Calif. where she is a four-time letterwinner in golf … During her time at Lincoln she was a part of four consecutive league championships, three divisional championships and advanced to NorCals as an individual in 2015, the first female to do so at Lincoln High … Was her team's MVP for all four years of high school and was named to the Sports Star All-City team and the Sacramento River Cats Student-Athlete of the Year … For three of her four years she had a scoring average under 40 for nine holes … Outside of high school she competed in the Junior Golf Association of Northern California (JGANC), Northern California Golf Association (NCGA), Hurricane Tour, Women's Nine Hole Golf Association (WNHGA) and American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) … Through the JGANC she participated in the NorCal vs. SoCal Cup, where she represented NorCal.
PERSONAL -- Daughter of Bianca and Craig Zunino … Business major and would like to become a CEO or professional golfer after college … Also recruited by Pepperdine and Long Beach State … Lists Tom Watson as her sports hero … The most memorable moment of her pre-college career was playing in the First Tee Open because she had the surreal experience of playing alongside Tom Watson at Pebble Beach … Enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies, volunteering, singing, acting, dancing, exploring and taking on new tasks in her free time … Quote on why she chose Nevada, “I chose Nevada because I felt the school called to me. The first time I stepped on campus I knew I’d be calling it my new ‘home.’ So many detrimental factors played a key part in leading me to my final decision. I love the campus, it has a great business program, the students and staff are friendly, and the state is a mecca for golf. All positive factors.”
