FRESHMAN (2018-19) – Played in two games during her first season with the Wolf Pack … Saw two minutes on the floor in the win over Stanislaus State (12/11) and one minute in the home win against Air Force (3/4) … Grabbed a defensive rebound in the Stanislaus State game.
HIGH SCHOOL – Local product from Reno and McQueen High School where she was a three-sport athlete in basketball, track & field and volleyball … Earned a slew of accolades including all-league, all-region, and second team all-state in 2017-18, first team all-conference and first team all-state honors in 2016-17 … Two-time all-state academic team honors … Averaged double figures in scoring for her high school career and recorded 19 double-doubles in her senior season … Played AAU ball for the Reno Ballers.
PERSONAL – Daughter of LaRae Koenig and Ged LaPlante … Has one younger brother, Kaden … Neuroscience major and would like to become an anesthesiologist or neurologist after college … Chose Nevada because it has an outstanding medical program and she wanted to represent her home state … Lists her mom as her sports hero because she always pushed her to be better and taught her to never give up … The most memorable moment of her pre-college career was playing in the regional game that was to get to states and winning against the odds … Enjoys hanging out with friends, going to the mall, spending time with family and going to Lake Tahoe in her spare time.
