                        NEVADA CAREER
JUNIOR (2021-22) -- Played in five games, averaging 2.4 points ... Scored season high of five points twice, against UC Merced (Dec. 7) and San José State (Feb. 2).
SOPHOMORE (2020-21) -- Was eligible to suit up for the Wolf Pack in her first season after transferring due to a blanket NCAA waiver … Played in 15 games and made one start … Averaged just over 10 minutes per game … Scored 36 points on the year to average 2.4 points per game and added 1.1 rebounds per game … Was 5-for-7 from the free throw line … Added seven assists and six steals … Scored in double figures once, finishing with 10 points against New Mexico on Jan. 2, a game in which she started … Played a season-high 28 minutes at Saint Mary’s on Dec. 21, scoring eight points ... Letter winner.
PRIOR TO NEVADA -- Transfer from Chicago State where she spent one season with the Cougars … During her freshman season she played in 27 games, making 17 starts as a rookie … Ranked second on the team averaging 12.3 points per game and connected on close to 40 percent of her shots.
HIGH SCHOOL -- Totaled 1,819 points in her three years on varsity at Nikiski High School in her home state of Alaska … During that time she received many accolades including three selections to USA Today's All-USA Alaska Girls Basketball first team, was twice named the Alaska 3A Player of the Year, was a three-time first team all-state honoree, earned two South Central Conference MVP awards and was named first team all-conference her senior year.
PERSONAL -- Daughter of Deborah and Daniel Carstens … Has four siblings, Seth, Benjamin, Nathan and Lillian … Her father, Daniel, was a collegiate wrestler at Pacific in the early 90s … Public health major, would like to become a nurse after college … Also recruited by Montana, Grand Valley, Vermont and Alaska Fairbanks … Lists Elena Delle Donne as her sports hero … Enjoys hiking, water skiing, eating and hanging out with friends in her free time … Quote on why she chose Nevada, “I went to a tournament in Nevada last year, the Nugget Classic, and I was impressed with the school and community involvement.
