The 2018-19 season marks assistant coach Ilya Osintsev’s third year with the Wolf Pack men’s tennis team. In the 2016-17 season, his first with the team, he saw the team improve from six wins to eight, and then notch 15 victories in 2017-18. Osintsev will look to build on the 23-21 record during his tenure this season. The native of Novosibirsk, Russia is a 2015 Santa Clara graduate, earning a degree in economics and racking up 65 career singles victories. In May of 2018, Osintsev earned his MBA from Nevada, and is currently working towards a masters in finance.
