Michael currently serves as the Assistant Director of Sports Medicine for Men’s Basketball and Women’s Tennis.
Prior to his time at Nevada, Michalski received at B.S. in Athletic Training, as well as a minor in Psychology from Grand Valley State University in 2018. Michael then graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2021 with a Master of Health Services Administration.
While studying at Grand Valley State, Michael worked with the Men’s Basketball team as a Student Athletic Trainer.
Michalski then worked at the University of San Diego again as a Student Athletic Trainer, primarily working with Women’s Basketball, Track, and Cross Country.
After San Diego, Michalski was a Certified Intern Athletic Trainer for Football at Butler University.
Most recently, Michael served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Women’s soccer team at the University of Detroit Mercy, responsible for full rehabilitation for multiple ACL reconstructions. Michael also managed student-athlete mental health concerns at the Wellness Center while at Detroit Mercy.
