SOPHOMORE (2019-20 - Season shorted due to COVID-19) – Played in three events during his first season with the Wolf Pack … Compiled a scoring average of 73.71 for the year … Totaled 18 birdies and 50 pars … Played the year at 12-over par … Had three of his seven rounds at par or better … Posted a season-best finish of 10th at the Wolf Pack Shootout where he also shot a season-low round of 70 … His best tournament score to par performance came at the Husky Invitational where he finished at 1-over par for the tournament … Letter winner ... Academic All-Mountain West selection.
PRIOR TO NEVADA – Transfer from Division II Young Harris College where he played one season … Named the Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Year … Earned five top 10 finishes during his lone season and compiled a scoring average of 72.9 … Ranked 12th in the nation after the fall season.
HIGH SCHOOL – Graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School in London, Ontario, Canada where he was a two-time letterwinner in golf … Helped lead his team to a city championship in 2017 after also winning the individual city championship the same year … Earned team MVP honors in back-to-back seasons … 2018 Ontario Men’s Match Play Champion … Member of the honor roll his senior year.
PERSONAL – Son of Mary Anne and Bill Kellett … Has two older brothers, Curtis and Connor … Business major … Would like to become a professional golfer after college … Chose Nevada because he loves it out west and it is a top Division I school … Also recruited by Eastern Michigan … Enjoys playing tennis and chilling with friends in his free time.
