Steven King is entering his first year as a graduate assistant for the Wolf Pack football team.

King spent the past two seasons at Wagner College where he mentored running back Dominique Williams, a member of the 2012 College Sports Journal All-American team, First-Team All-NEC in 2012 and was a second-team selection in 2013. Williams is currently a member of the Minnesota Vikings.

During the 2011 season King served as a wide receiver coach at Nassau Community College on Long Island. King tutored wide receiver Mark Thomas who went on to earn All-Conference honors after leading the conference in receptions and receiving yards.

Prior to his time at Nassau, King served as the running backs and defensive backs coach at East Meadow (NY) High School from 2007-2011.During his time there, he coached and develop two players who won the Thorpe Award, presented annually by Newsday to Long Island's Most Outstanding Player.

A Hempstead native, King was a four-year letter winner at the University at Buffalo where he led the team in rushing touchdowns in both his junior and senior seasons.

King earned a bachelor degree in sociology from the University at Buffalo and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Wagner College. He is working towards a second Masters in Educational Leadership here at the University of Nevada.
