Veteran offensive line coach Ron Crook joined the Nevada staff as Offensive Analyst in August 2025. In his role, Crook will assist in the coaching of The Union.
Over a career spanning nearly four decades, Crook has overseen offensive lines at multiple stops including Cincinnati (1993, 2017-21), Harvard (2003-10), Stanford (2011-12, tight ends/tackles), West Virginia (2013-16) and, most recently, Virginia Tech (2023-24).

While with the Bearcats, Crook oversaw an offensive line which ranked 10th in offensive line efficiency in 2021 while posting four top-25 finishes in rushing offense (2017-20) and three top-25 finishes in yards per carry (2018, 2020-21). Cincinnati won back-to-back AAC titles and in 2021 became the first Group of Five team to earn a spot in the College Football Playoff.

Prior to his time with the Bearcats, Crook was part of a West Virginia staff which helped guide the Mountaineers to a 10-win campaign in 2016 and three bowl games from 2014-16. In his two seasons at Stanford, he oversaw the Cardinal tight ends and tackles for a program which went a combined 23-4, appeared in the 2012 Fiesta Bowl then won a Pac-12 title and beat Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl the following year.

Before joining Illinois as a graduate assistant in 2002 and going on to Harvard for eight seasons, Crook was part of coaching staffs at West Virginia Tech (1999), Glenville State (1997-98) and Clarion College (1994-96) where he was part of Division II playoff teams.
