Special Teams Coordinator/Offensive Assistant
Marc Nudelberg joins the University of Nevada for his first season in 2015, serving as the Wolf Pack’s special teams coordinator and an offensive assistant coach after being hired by head coach Brian Polian on Jan. 1, 2016. Nudelberg joins Nevada after one season on Jim McElwain’s inaugural 2015 staff at Florida.
Nudelberg served as the Gator’s special teams quality control coach last season as Florida posted a 10-3 record and earned a berth in the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl.
Prior to his stint at Florida, Nudelberg spent two seasons on Cincinnati’s coaching staff as a tight ends and special teams coach in 2014 and an offensive graduate assistant in 2013. The Bearcats posted 9-4 records in both of those seasons with trips to the 2013 Belk Bowl and the 2014 Military Bowl.
Nudelberg came to Cincinnati after eight seasons in multiple roles at his alma mater, Florida State, where he worked with Jimbo Fisher and legendary coach Bobby Bowden.
Nudelberg served as an offensive and special teams quality control coach from 2010-13 with the Seminoles, working directly with the specialists and running backs while assisting with the scout special teams. Outside of practice, Nudelberg was responsible for special teams film breakdown and scouting reports. He worked with a pair of NFL specialists, punter Shawn Powell and kicker Dustin Hopkins, and the Seminoles were the nation's top-ranked special teams unit in 2011.
From 2009-10, he worked with the running backs and directly with Bowden on game day, coordinating communication between the head coach and the offensive staff. He was also responsible for game week film, practice breakdowns, meeting cut ups and front and blitz drawings. Nudelberg also served as a student equipment manager and assistant at Florida State from 2005-09.
A native of Cooper City, Fla., Nudelberg graduating from Florida State with a degree in economics in 2009. Nudelberg is married to his wife, Rachel and the couple has a son, Kai, born in April of 2016.
