Biography
SOPHOMORE (2024-25): Tyler Rolison took a significant step forward in his sophomore campaign, playing in all 33 games with eight starts and averaging 7.3 points, 2.9 assists, and 2.0 rebounds per contest. He shot an efficient 44.7 percent from the field, 30.6 percent from three, and 85.7 percent from the free-throw line over 23.7 minutes per game. Rolison totaled 242 points, 96 assists, and 67 rebounds on the season while continuing to establish himself as a poised and dependable guard for the Wolf Pack.
Rolison’s top performance came on February 19, when he dropped a season-high 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting in a road game at Colorado State. He also scored 16 points in a win over Wyoming (Feb. 25) and added 12 points in Nevada’s Mountain West Tournament victory over Fresno State (Mar. 11), going 4-of-6 from the field and 3-of-4 from deep. Rolison’s growth as both a scorer and facilitator was evident, as he finished second on the team in assists (96) and consistently made winning plays on both ends of the floor.
FRESHMAN (2023-24): Appeared in 33 contests off the bench throughout the season for the Pack … Posted season averages of 3.8 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game, while shooting 36.0 percent from the field, 38.1 percent from behind the arc, and 78.0 percent at the free throw line … Scored two points, dished out three assists, and recorded one steal in his collegiate debut against Sacramento State (11/7/23) … Scored a season-high 12 points on 4-9 shooting from the field, 1-1 from behind the arc, and 3-3 at the free throw line, in addition to tallying three assists in Nevada’s win over Pacific (11/15/23) … Scored 10 points and grabbed a career-high six rebounds against Drake (12/9/23) … Dropped seven points on 3-4 shooting from the field in the Pack’s victory over Hawaii (12/17/23) … Scored six points, dished out three assists, and recorded two steals to help Nevada earn a win over TCU to advance to the Championship game of the 2023 Diamond Head Classic (12/22/24) … Matched his career-high with a 12-point outing in Nevada’s win over San Jose State (2/2/24) …. Scored five points, pulled down four rebounds, and dished out four assists in the Pack’s road victory over No. 22 Utah State (2/6/24) … Scored seven points, pulled down three rebounds, and dished out three assists to help lead Nevada to a 74-66 win over Fresno State (3/1/24) … Scored seven points on a perfect 3-3 shooting from the field in the Pack’s regular season finale against UNLV (3/9/24).
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at St. Bernard High School in Playa del Rey, California … Named the Del Rey League Player of the Year in both his Junior and Senior seasons … Helped lead St. Bernard to an overall record of 22-9, including a mark of 7-1 throughout league play during his senior season … Had one of the best games of his career in the first round of the Southern Section Division I playoffs, where led St. Bernard to a 75-73 victory after pouring in 44 points, in addition to tallying 10 assists and six rebounds … In his junior season, helped St. Bernard achieve an overall record of 24-8, along with a league mark of 5-3 … Recognized as the 2021-22 CIF-Southern Section Division 1 Player of the Year … Played for the Compton Magic on the AAU Circuit.
