NEVADA CAREER
JUNIOR (2023-24) – Competed in six events throughout the season, compiling a scoring average of 76.58 … Opened the season by finishing tied for 65th at the Lady Paladin Invitational after carding a 54-hole score of 228 (77-78-73) … Finished tied for 65th at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational in her second event of the year after completing the tournament at +12 (78-75-75=228) … Had her best outing of the season at the Golf Iconic Classic, helping lead Nevada to a third-place finish in the 17-team field. Sheikh finished tied for 37th out of 92 individuals after completing the event with a score of 221 (+5) …. Finished tied for third at the Battle at the Boundary to open the spring after firing off rounds of 72-75=147 (+3). 

SOPHOMORE (2022-23) -- Rebounded well from an opening-round 81 at the Coeur d'Alene Collegiate Invitational, closing with rounds of 71-72 to help Nevada to a runner-up team finish (Sept. 18-20) ... Finished third at the Colonel Wollenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic at -8 (70-69-69=208), with her score of 208 being the third-lowest 54-hole total in Nevada history (Sept. 26-27) …  Earned a career-best finish of T13 at the abbreviated Causeway Invitational after carding a 74 (+2) in the first and only round of the event …. Had a strong first round at the Fresno State Classic where she shot 74 … Completed the season with a stroke average of 74.56 across 16 rounds.

FRESHMAN (2021-22) -- Played in two tournaments during her first season with the Wolf Pack... Shot a career-low round 76 (2x; 1st and 2nd) at The Gunrock Invitational... Made seven birdies and 61 pars.

HIGH SCHOOL -- Graduated from Robert F. Hall SS in Caledon, Ontario … During her high school career she was a three-sport athlete with golf, basketball and Muay Thai and was awarded an OFSSA Regional award for golf … In the summer of 2020 she competed in the Ontario Junior Girls Championship where she totaled nine birdies and seven pars in the final round … Also recorded wins in a few well known events in Canada including the Ontario Girls Championship (U-15), the Can Am Games in 2019 and took third place at the Ontario Junior Girls Championship this summer … Is a member at Golf Ontario and had a stroke average of 72.18 for 18 holes.

PERSONAL -- Daughter of Asghar and Hina Sheikh … Has one older sister, Nuha … Psychology major … Chose Nevada because of the strong academics, competitive golf program and in general Nevada offered what suited her best … Also recruited by Ball State, Texas Southern, Weber State, Ohio U and Wingate … Lists Kobe Bryant as her sports hero … The most memorable moment of her pre-Nevada career was the summer of 2020 at the Ontario Junior Girls Tournament where she recorded eight birdies and seven pars in her last 15 holes to overcome a bad start to the final round … Enjoys doing Muay Thai, studying about ancient religions and astronomy, hiking and working out in her free time.
