RENO, Nev. - Nevada Volleyball's Masyn Navarro has been selected as the Old Trapper Mountain West Women's Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week the conference announced, Monday. 

Navarro ended the Eastern Volleyball Tournament with 61 total digs, highlighted by career-highs against both Eastern Washington and CSU Bakersfield (23 digs). Adding to the career-best week for digs, Navarro also notched 20 total assists, capped by eight against Portland, and five service aces across the weeks games. Navarro moved into the top ten in the Mountain West for digs per set, sitting at #9, averaging 3.00 digs per set.
