RENO, Nev. - It's Mountain West kickoff week for the Wolf Pack as football, women's soccer and women's volleyball all open up conference play.

Women's soccer and volleyball lead it off with simultaneous Mountain West action this Thursday night, hosting Wyoming and Grand Canyon, respectively, at 6 p.m. Volleyball plays back-to-back nights against the Lopes, closing the weekend Friday at 6 p.m. at Virginia Street Gym while soccer finishes the weekend on the road at New Mexico Sunday at 12 p.m. PT.

Women's golf play the Ben Connell Ram Classic in Fort Collins, Colorado to continue their fall season play, Monday and Tuesday. 

Wolf Pack Football hosts Air Force in its Mountain West opener Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. before going into its first bye weekend.

Women's Swimming & Diving will also be in preseason action, hosting the Silver & Blue Meet Friday at 2:30 p.m. from Lombardi Pool.

Nevada opens Mountain West play at Mackay Stadium this Saturday, hosting Air Force for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff. The game will air on FS1 and stream on FOX One with Noah Reed (play-by-play) and Petros Papadakis (analyst) on the call.

The radio broadcast of the game will be available on KOZZ 105.7 FM in Northern Nevada, online at www.thevarsitynetwork.com and on the Varsity Network app. John Ramey (play-by-play), Mike Edwards (analyst) and Terrence Newman (sideline) will be on the call, with the 60-minute pregame show to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday's contest will serve as Nevada's "Salute to Service" game during which the Wolf Pack salutes the brave men and women who serve our country and community.

Nevada Women's Golf continue their fall schedule play this week at the Ben Connell Ram Classic in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Pack were highlighted by two top 20's from returning players Coco Kolbas and Payton Lovisa and they will be led by them once again this week. The starting lineup for the Wolf Pack this week will include Coco Kolbas, Payton Lovisa, Marina Nonaka and debut's for freshman newcomers Varaya (Nice) Wisitsakda and Zurich Kanokpornvasin.

Nevada Volleyball begin conference play at home this week, playing games on Thursday and Friday, both at 6 p.m. against Grand Canyon. The Pack are coming off two wins out of three at the Eastern Volleyball Tournament, securing wins against Eastern Washington and CSU Bakersfield. Adriana Dorn was selected as part of the all-tournament team, and Masyn Navarro earned Mountain West defensive player of the week off the back of their performances at the tournament. Nevada will look to open conference play in strong fashion at home in Virginia Street Gym.

The momentum continues Saturday morning with the Alumni Meet at 9 a.m., welcoming former Wolf Pack athletes and their families back to Reno for a tradition-rich start to the year. The Wolf Pack soon turn its attention to a competitive season.
