Nevada Athletics announces partnership with Uptop to launch Wolf Pack Rewards

RENO, Nev. – Nevada Athletics and Wolf Pack Sports Properties announced today a new partnership with Uptop, a Rain company, bringing Uptop's innovative fan rewards technology, and infrastructure built on Avalanche to the Wolf Pack community.

Through the partnership, facilitated by Learfield's Wolf Pack Sports Properties, the exclusive multimedia rights holder of Nevada Athletics, Uptop will create new opportunities for Wolf Pack fans to be rewarded for the ways they already support Nevada. Uptop's platform connects everyday fan engagement and purchases with rewards, helping bring fans, Nevada Athletics, and participating corporate partners together in a new digital experience.

Wolf Pack Rewards goes live on September 18, and will be available at WolfPackRewards.com or through the official Nevada Wolf Pack mobile app.

Uptop allows users to earn points through activities and purchases they already make. Through simple card-linking and other integrations, fans can earn automatically by spending with participating businesses such as Big O Tires, Del Taco, Mountain Mike's Pizza, and more, and redeem their points for things like tickets, merchandise and experiences. Unlike other programs, there are no extra steps like funding separate accounts, and points can be redeemed for access throughout the year.

"We are always looking for new and innovative ways to enhance the experience for Wolf Pack fans and create additional value for our corporate partners," said Wolf Pack Sports Properties Senior Manager, Business Management Chris Boline. "Uptop gives us an exciting platform to accomplish both. We're thrilled to welcome them to the Wolf Pack family and look forward to creating new ways for our fans to engage with Nevada Athletics and the businesses that support our student-athletes."

The partnership will also provide participating Nevada Athletics corporate partners with another avenue to connect directly with Wolf Pack fans. Through Uptop's technology, participating businesses can offer access to rewards and experiences while gaining measurable insights into fan engagement and purchasing activity.

"Our goal with Nevada is to make fandom go further," said Zac Sebo, Head of Partnerships at Uptop. "Wolf Pack supporters put time and energy into their teams, and this gives Athletics a way to say thank you with access and rewards money can't always buy. This program allows fans to link a card, pay as they normally would, and receive rewards nearly instantly. It's a win-win-win for Nevada's fans, the University, and corporate partners."

What comes next
Additional information about the program, including opportunities for Wolf Pack fans to participate and earn rewards, will be announced as the partnership rolls out including a co-branded Nevada prepaid card in the near future. Fans will be able to fund this card through their Wolf Pack Rewards account and use it anywhere they shop, which extends earning beyond Nevada venues and partner locations. Nevada and Uptop also plan to add additional partner offers and new redemption tiers throughout the season.
