LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Four members of the Wolf Pack were named to the 2026 Preseason All-Mountain West Team as the conference kicked off 2026 Old Trapper Mountain West Football Media Days Wednesday morning at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
Offensive lineman
Jack Foster, EDGE
Dylan LaBarbera, kicker
Joe McFadden and defensive back
Aiden Walker represented the Wolf Pack on the team. Nevada's four selections represented its most since 2021 when it also landed four players to the team.
Wednesday morning's announcement marks for the Wolf Pack quartet yet more preseason accolades. All four players have earned preseason all-conference honors from media members covering the conference teams (who voted on Wednesday's team), Phil Steele and Athlon Sports. Foster, LaBarbera and McFadden were named to the First Team by Phil Steele and Athlon Sports, with Walker being named to Phil Steele's First Team and to Athlon Sports' Second Team.
LaBarbera, who earned spots on the HERO Sports Group of Five All-America Team and Pro Football Focus (PFF) All-Group of Six Team for his performance last season, finished 2025 tied for eighth in the country with 17.0 tackles-for-loss and sixth with 1.42 TFLs per game. He went on to earn the Wolf Pack's 2025 Chris Ault Award as the team's Most Valuable Player, leading the Wolf Pack with 87 tackles and 6.5 sacks.
Foster established himself as an anchor for The Union in 2025, starting all 12 games, firming up the left tackle position and being named the team's Basalite Big Blocker Award winner by coaching staff.
McFadden boosts the Wolf Pack special teams with his return in 2026. His 19 field goals a season ago ranked eighth in Nevada's single-season records, and he was a perfect 20-for-20 on PAT attempts.
Walker made an immediate impact for the Wolf Pack defense as a freshman in 2025. The Round Rock, Texas native appeared in 11 games with two starts, making 24 tackles including one for loss. Walker quickly locked down a corner spot against opposing offenses, turning back challenges and establishing himself as one of the Mountain West's top returning defensive backs in 2026.Â
