This Week In Wolf Pack Athletics

RENO, Nev. - Nevada Baseball and Softball are each home for big series this weekend, while Men's Tennis hosts New Mexico and Women's Tennis closes its home slate this week.

The home action begins Tuesday as Baseball hosts UC Davis in a 6:05 p.m. non-conference matchup, and continues with Men's Tennis hosting New Mexico in Mountain West action Wednesday at 12 p.m. at McArthur Tennis Center.

Friday marks Women's Tennis' final home dual of the season, at 12 p.m. against Fresno State, as well as the start of a three-game baseball series against San José State. Softball, after a road doubleheader at San Diego State Wednesday, hosts New Mexico for a quick two-game series Saturday and Sunday at Hixson Park.

Elsewhere, Women's Golf is in Maricopa, Arizona for the Cowgirl Classic, its final regular-season tournament before the Mountain West Championships. Men's Golf heads to Davis for its own regular-season finale, the El Macero Classic, Friday through Sunday.

Track & Field heads to Azusa for two days of the Bryan Clay Multis.

Nevada Baseball plays five games this week, beginning Monday at 6 p.m. at Sacramento State. From there, the Wolf Pack returns to Reno for a four-game home stand beginning Tuesday at 6:05 p.m. against UC Davis and continuing over the weekend as San José State arrives for a three-game, Mountain West set.

The Pack split two non-conference games last week, concluding it with five home runs, including two and a grand slam from Mikey Cruz Jr., in Thursday's 18-7, seven-inning win over Simpson University.

Nevada comes into the weekend just a game out of first place in the Mountain West standings after last weekend's bye week.

Nevada Men's Tennis hosts New Mexico in midweek afternoon action Wednesday at 12 p.m. at McArthur Tennis Center before traveling to Air Force for a Saturday dual at 10 a.m. PT. The Wolf Pack is coming off of a 4-0 loss in Silver State Series action at UNLV Saturday, and looking for its first win in conference play.

Nevada Women's Golf heads to Maricopa, Arizona for the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic, the final event of the regular season for the Pack. This will be the Pack's first time playing the event since 2024, where they notched an eighth place finish, highlighted by current senior Gabby Kano's tied for ninth finish at even-par. 

The Pack will look to gain some momentum heading into the Mountain West Championships, where they placed third last year.

The Pack multi squad will head to Azusa, California, this week for the Bryan Clay Multis. The multi squad performed solidly at the event last year and will look to earn new personal bests as they head into the busy section of the outdoor season.

Nevada Softball travels to San Diego for a double-header against SDSU on Wednesday April 8. The team will return to Christina M. Hixson for a quick tow game series against New Mexico from April 11-12.

Nevada Women's Tennis will have a split week hosting its final home match of the season against Fresno State on Friday, before hitting the road to take on San José State Sunday. Both matches are set for 12 p.m. 

The Pack is coming off of a homestand where it beat GCU on Thursday, 4-2, and fell to San Diego State on Saturday, 4-2. 

Nevada only has three matches left of the regular season before competing in the Mountain West Tournament beginning on April 22.
