RENO, Nev. - Jacob Doyle hit his first two home runs of the season and Nevada banged out 17 hits in a series-clinching 10-5 win over Pacific at Don Weir Field at Peccole Park.

Doyle's first homer, a two-run shot to right-center, tied the game up at 2-2 as Nevada (7-5) answered Pacific's two-run top of the second. His second of the day, to straight-away center, was another two-run shot which opened up a four-run lead for the Pack at 9-5 in the seventh.

For the day, Doyle went 4-for-4 with two homers, two doubles, and six RBIs. Jackson Waller followed Doyle's seventh-inning shot with a solo blast, the back-to-back homers capping the day's scoring.

Jayce Dobie and Jake Harvey each had three hits, with Harvey scoring thrice, and Lee Matsuzaki impressed again in his second-straight start, going 2-for-4 with a double.

Aidan Brainard weathered three early Pacific runs, settling down and pitching into the sixth for his first win of the season. The Tigers got two more with two out in the sixth on Robert Orr's two-run homer to chase Brainard, but reliever Eddie Tierney came on and allowed just two hits over 3.1 scoreless innings to pick up the save.

After Pacific (6-8) took a 3-2 lead in the top of the third, Sean Yamaguchi tied it back up in the bottom half with an RBI double to right-center. An inning later, Doyle plated Harvey with an RBI double of his own then came in on Rominic Quiban's RBI single.

Tiger starter Maddox Moreno lasted just three-plus innings, falling to 0-2 giving up five runs on eight hits.

The Pack will try to extend its winning streak to five in Sunday's finale with the Tigers, set for a 12:05 p.m. first pitch.
