RENO, Nev. – Nevada Softball (18-10, MW 2-1) secured the 9-4 series win over Boise State (13-17, MW 1-2) on Sunday at Christina M. Hixson Park.

Boise State opened the game with two runs in the first, but Nevada immediately responded with a pair of its own to even the score. The Broncos briefly regained a 3–2 lead in the second inning before Hannah Di Genova delivered a two‑run home run to center field, putting the Pack ahead 4–3.

Boise cut the deficit to one in the fourth inning, but Nevada continued to push.

Freshman Katie Wetteland hit an RBI triple to right field to score Bailie Clark.  Lexi O'Gorman's sacrifice fly allowed Wetteland to score and extend the lead to 6–4. Nevada capitalized on two walks and a hit‑by‑pitch to push across two more runs before Di Genova added a sacrifice fly to make it 9–4, where the score would hold.

Ainsley Berlingeri opened the game, striking out five over 3.0 innings while allowing just one earned run. Sofie Seese took over to start the fourth and worked 0.2 innings, giving up one run before handing the ball to Tess Bumiller. Bumiller pitched 3.1 scoreless innings with two strikeouts and no walks securing the win.

Nevada now turns its attention to a midweek matchup at Pacific on Tuesday before resuming Mountain West play at Utah State.
