TEMPE, Ariz. — Nevada closed out its Sunday matchup at the Littlewood Classic with a composed, all‑around performance, taking down Indiana 4–2 at Farrington Stadium to move to 6–4 on the season.
The Wolf Pack set the tone early.
Hannah Di Genova opened the scoring in the first inning with a two‑out solo home run to left, giving Nevada an immediate spark. The Pack doubled the lead in the second when
Madison Clark delivered a sharp RBI single, continuing her strong day at the plate.
Indiana chipped away with single runs in the third and fourth, including a solo shot from Ellie Goins, but Nevada's pitching staff held firm the rest of the way.
Hailey McLean navigated the opening frames before handing the ball to
Tess Bumiller, who settled the game with 3.1 innings of composed relief to earn the win.
Nevada reclaimed the lead in the fifth when
Haylee Engelbrecht launched a one‑out home run to left, her first of the season. The Pack added insurance in the sixth after
Karolyn Glover reached to start the inning and Clark came through again with her second hit of the day to push the advantage to 4–2.
Talia Tretton entered in the sixth and closed the door, recording the final four outs without allowing a run to secure her second save of the year.
