O'AHU, Hawai'i - Nevada Volleyball opened up their road series against Hawai'i Thursday, falling in three sets (25-18, 25-20, 25-15) to the current number one team in the Mountain West.

Nevada fought through a competitive opening stretch of the second set against Hawaii, tying the score at 4-4 behind kills from Madison Long and Mckaley Herr. A kill from Adriana Dorn and a block by Ceren Sert and Dorn kept the deficit at one midway through the frame, while a block from Herr and Karly Bonaventure helped the Pack stay within reach at 9-12. However, the Rainbow Wahine used a series of service runs to create separation, including back-to-back aces from Panna Ratkai that extended the lead to 17-10.
