RENO, Nev. -Â Nevada Volleyball returns to Virginia Street Gym this weekend and Women's Swimming and Diving gets its 2026-27 campaign underway to highlight this week's Wolf Pack action.
Volleyball hosts UTEP, which sits just one game off the top of the conference table, Thursday at 6 p.m. and again Saturday at 12 p.m. In the pool, Wolf Pack Swimming and Diving opens its season Friday afternoon at UC Davis (1 p.m.) before closing the weekend Saturday at 11 a.m. against San José State.
Wolf Pack Football returns to action after its bye week, resuming Mountain West play Saturday at 4 p.m. PT at UTEP.

Nevada, fresh off its bye week, resumes Mountain West play Saturday at UTEP. The game in El Paso will kick off at 4 p.m. PT (5 p.m. local) and air on FS1 and stream on FOX One with Connor Onion (play-by-play) and Spencer Tillman (analyst) on the call.
The radio broadcast of the game will be available on KOZZ 105.7 FM in Northern Nevada, online at www.thevarsitynetwork.com and on the Varsity Network app. John Ramey (play-by-play and Mike Edwards (analyst) will be on the call, with the 60-minute pregame show to begin at 3 p.m. PT.

Nevada Volleyball return from a road series against New Mexico, where the Pack fell 3-0 and 3-1 to the Lobos. Nevada will face one of the conferences best teams at home this week, facing off against UTEP on Thursday and Saturday. The Pack enter the week ranked right in the middle of the conference and have three players ranked top five in the conference in kills, assists and service aces.Â

Nevada Women's Golf open play at the penultimate event of their fall schedule Monday, at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational. The starting five for the Wolf Pack will be Coco Kolbas, Payton Lovisa, Amy Na, Marina Nonaka and Zurich Kanokpornvasin. Nevada Swim & Dive opens its season on the road with a pair of meets in Northern California. The Wolf Pack will begin the campaign against UC Davis on Friday, Oct. 9, at 1 p.m. before traveling to San José for a matchup with San José State on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 11 a.m. The season-opening road trip will provide Nevada its first opportunity to compete against outside competition after months of preseason training, as the Wolf Pack looks to start the year strong against a pair of familiar Mountain West opponents.

Nevada Men's Tennis travels to Provo where BYU will host the ITA Mountain Regional from Tuesday-Saturday, October 6-10.
The ITA Regional is one of multiple opportunities for players to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships scheduled for Nov. 17-22 in Athens, Georgia. In Provo, the singles finalists and doubles champion will earn bids to their respective national draw. Tuesday's opening day features singles qualifying and doubles first round.
