RENO, Nev. - Ibrahim Snoussi was named Mountain West Freshman of the Week after his unbeaten performance over Nevada's 4-0 week.

Snoussi captured a pair of singles wins and a doubles win, while he led a third singles match which was unfinished due to a Wolf Pack clinch of the dual.

Snoussi opened the week Monday, January 26, with a 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (9) comeback victory at No. 5 singles over Andrew Lavine of UC Riverside in Nevada's 7-0 sweep. In Saturday's doubleheader at Menlo College, Snoussi captured a 7-5, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles in the opener, a 5-2 Nevada win, then teamed with Rayen Hermassi for a 7-6 (4) win at No. 2 doubles and led his match at No. 4 singles, 6-1, 5-1 before it was abandoned due to the Pack's clinch.

Nevada (4-0) returns to action in two weekends, traveling to San Luis Obispo, California to face Cal Poly (Feb. 6, 5 p.m.) and LMU (Feb. 7, 2 p.m.).
