Box Score AUBURN, Ala. - Nevada Women's Tennis face Florida State in day one of the ITA Kickoff weekend hosted by Auburn. 

In doubles action, two Nevada teams fell. The duo of Silvia-Maria Costache and Marlene Foerster dropped their match to Eva Shaw and Millie Bissett, 6-2. Petra Janigova and Wiem Boubaker fell to Mary Boyce Deatherage and Cade Cricchio, 6-3. 

Amahée Charrier and Kennedy Robinson were leading Laura Putz and Tina Li, 4-3, when FSU clinched the point. 

In singles action, Nevada evened up the score at three points each as Kariman Buqai defeated Li (7-5, 7-5), followed by Costache beating Kristyna Lavickova (7-5, 7-6) and Charrier won over Bissett (6-3, 5-7, 6-1). 

However, after Foerster fell to Shaw (6-0, 7-6) and Robinson lost to Putz (6-1, 6-1), Nevada needed the final singles match to win. Janigova ultimately fell to Deatherage, 7-6, 4-6, 3-6.

Nevada will play again tomorrow with time and opponent TBD.
