Nevada to play in 2026 ITA Kickoff, faces Florida State in opener

RENO, Nev. - Nevada Women's Tennis, ranked No. 72 in the ITA rankings, earned an invitation into the 2026 ITA Kickoff Weekend set for Jan. 24-25. The Wolf Pack will travel to Auburn where it will face No. 67 Florida State Saturday, Jan. 24.

Based on results in the opening matches of the four-team pod, Nevada will face either host No. 8 Auburn or No. 76 Tulane Sunday, Jan. 25.

Nevada completed a historic season in 2025, going 17-4 and set a program record for the most wins in a season, while finishing second in Mountain West play with an 8-2 mark. The finish was Nevada's best in the Mountain West since joining the conference in 2012-13.

The Pack's year was highlighted by junior Amahée Charrier being named Mountain West Player of the Year, the second player in Wolf Pack history to win the award. Charrier finished the season with a program record 27 wins in singles play, including 14 in the spring regular season and an 8-1 record in conference play.
