Nevada Signs Kaleb Lowery

RENO, Nev. - Nevada Men's Basketball head coach Steve Alford announced the signing of talented forward Kaleb Lowery, adding a proven and decorated player to the Wolf Pack's 2025-26 roster."Kaleb is a versatile forward with a high motor and great instincts on both ends of the floor," said Alford. "He brings grit, rebounding, and a strong work ethic that aligns with our culture. Kaleb's journey shows his resilience, and we're excited to help him continue to grow and make an impact here in Reno."

Lowery comes to Nevada after a stellar career at The Master's University, where he established himself as one of the most dominant players in the NAIA. In his final season, Lowery averaged 18.8 points and 10.4 rebounds per game, showcasing his ability to impact the game on both ends of the court.

The 6-foot-8 forward racked up an impressive list of accolades throughout his collegiate career. Most recently, Lowery was named the Trevor Hudgins Award winner for the 2024-25 season, an honor given to the top NAIA men's basketball player. He was also recognized as an NAIA First Team All-American for the 2024-25 season and earned GSAC Player of the Year honors for a second time.

His standout senior campaign built upon an already impressive résumé. Lowery was previously a NAIA Second Team All-American in 2023-24 and the GSAC Co-Player of the Year. He captured multiple GSAC Player of the Week awards throughout his career, including in February 2024 and February and January 2023.

Lowery's consistency has been remarkable. He earned All-GSAC honors three straight seasons (2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23) and was also recognized as an NAIA First Team All-American and the GSAC Player of the Year in 2022-23.

Known for his rebounding toughness, scoring ability, and defensive instincts, Lowery brings a wealth of experience and a winning mindset to the Wolf Pack frontcourt. His addition is expected to bolster Nevada's depth and bring leadership to a team aiming for continued success in the Mountain West.
