SAN DIEGO – Nevada Men's Tennis lost 4-2 to San Diego State, wrapping up the regular season.
 
The Aztecs won a pair of key breaks in the doubles session, winning on both court two and three. Eugenio Gonzalez and Denis Maijorov defeated Max Contet and Rayen Hermassi, 6-3, on court three, while Liam Spiers and Marc Kleber defeated Rémy Trégourès and Greg Valente on court two, 6-4. Youssef Kadiri and Lucas Hammond led in the top-flight match, 5-4, when the session was abandoned.
 
In singles play, Maijorov defeated Valente 6-2, 6-4 on court six to give San Diego State a 2-0 lead.
 
Kadiri notched his 25^th singles victory of the season, quickly defeating Gonzalez on court one, 6-2, 6-1.
 
Contet tied the dual for the Pack with his 6-3, 6-2 win over Kleber on court five.
 
The Aztecs wrapped up the match with a pair of victories. On court two, Alexander Mandma defeated Hammond, 6-3, 6-3. And on court three, Mathieu Josserand won 6-3, 2-6, 7-5, overcoming Hermassi's momentum after the second set.
 
Nevada heads to Las Vegas for the Mountain West tournament, beginning Wednesday at the Darling Tennis Center. The Pack, the four seed, will Air Force in a rematch of a tight 4-3 Wolf Pack win earlier this year.
