RENO, Nev. – Nevada Women's Tennis Junior Amahée Charrier was named Mountain West Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Charrier went 3-0 during the Pack's 1-1 week, defeating both of her singles opponents. Charrier started the week with a 6-2 doubles victory over Fresno State, clinching the doubles point for the Wolf Pack.

In the singles session, Charrier defeated the Bulldog's top singles player, Matilde Magrini, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2, finishing 2-0 in the valley.

Charrier's week ended with a dominant 6-4, 6-1 victory against San José State's Cheuk Ying Shek.

The Chambray-les-Tours, France native also played doubles against the Spartan with her partner,
Kennedy Robinson, but did not finish her match before the conclusion of the doubles session.

Charrier broke the Nevada single-season singles victories record with her win at Fresno State, extending her lead with her 26
th win of the season against San José State.

Charrier and the Wolf Pack are back in action tomorrow at McArthur Tennis Center, taking on New Mexico on senior day at noon. After the Pack celebrate Lou-Anee Guerbert's career at Nevada, the team will look for a share of the conference championship, needing a win and a loss from San Diego State to clinch the program's first conference championship in four decades.
