Peyton Fosher struck out seven over 6.2 innings, allowing four runs on seven hits. The Wolf Pack bullpen was nails, as Caedon Kottinger struck out one in an inning and a third, and Ethan O'Neal worked a 1-2-3 ninth for his first save of the season.

Trailing 2-1, Nevada (2-3) took control of the game with five runs over the fourth and fifth innings. The first of Harvey's two sacrifice flies plated Jayce Dobie to tie it up, then, after a walk to Michael Ball, Sean Yamaguchi lined a single up the middle to score Harvey for the 3-2 lead.

After the Roadrunners (1-4) tied it up in their half of the fifth on Elijah Pelayo's RBI single, the Pack answered with three in the bott half to build a cushion.

Taylor Holder was hit by a pitch to lead it off, and Billy Ham's single to right put runners at the corners. Dobie singled the right-center to plate Holder with the go-ahead run, then Ham came across ion Junhyuk Kwon's sacrifice fly, giving the Wolf Pack a 5-3 lead. After Donovan Ratfield walked, and he and Dobie advanced on a balk by Alex Urias-Calvillo, Harvey hit his second sacrifice fly to up the Pack lead to 6-3.

Roadrunner reliever Jack Leary, who faced Holder and Ham, took his second loss of the season, charged with two runs on two hits over two-thirds of an inning.

Yamaguchi led the Pack with two hits on the night, while for CSU Bakersfield Pelayo was one of four batters with two hits.
