After scoring 23 and 22 points on Boise State's victory against Duquesne and Saint Mary's, respectively, the junior was named the Old Trapper Mountain West Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
LAST TIME OUT
Nevada (8-3) closed out its non-conference schedule with a hard-fought 78-75 victory over Duquesne (6-5) on Saturday night inside Lawlor Events Center.
The Pack limited the Dukes to 39 percent (23-for-59) from the field and 33 percent (11-for-33) from beyond the arc.
Nevada finished the game shooting 45 percent (25-for-56) from the floor, 40 percent (4-for-10) from three-point range, and 75 percent (24-for-32) at the free-throw line. Defensively, the Pack recorded nine steals and five blocks, disrupting Duquesne's rhythm on both ends of the court.
Tayshawn Comer led Nevada offensively with 16 points, along with an assist and a rebound. Comer was followed by White and
Elijah Price with 10, to give the Pack three scorers in double figures. Price led the team in rebounds (9) and the defense with three blocks, while
Myles Walker had three steals.
NEVADA'S DEPTH
Nevada's bench has been a steady spark this season, bringing energy on defense and helping maintain intensity when the starters need a lift.
In the last game against Duquesne, Nevada's bench proved to be a decisive factor in the game, with
Peyton White leading the rotation with 12 points. White was followed by Robinson with eight, and Rolison with six (6). Walker added five points to help Nevada outscore Duquesne 37–20 in bench points, providing energy throughout the night.
The Pack is now 4-2 in the season with more bench points than the opponent. The second unit has helped deliver timely scoring and momentum plays.
FRESHMAN SPARK
Nevada's freshmen continue to make a strong impact on the team after making key plays to help the Pack secure wins this season.
Peyton White has entered all 11 games so far this season. The freshman recorded a career high of 15 points against UC Davis on Nov. 18 and nine rebounds against UC San Diego on Dec. 2.
Ethan Croley recorded a double-double (11 points and 10 rebounds) in the win against San Francisco on Nov. 28. Croley's double-double performance was the program's first since Darrion Williams 13 points and 13 rebounds against New Mexico on Jan. 23, 2023.
Myles Walker has also made an impact in the backcourt, setting the pace of the offense for the Pack. The freshman has 16 assists so far this season, while recording 23 points and nine rebounds of its own. On the defense, Walker has nine steals in nine games played.
Together, anytime the trio comes in to play, they bring depth, energy, and promise of Nevada's young core.
PRICE ON THE GLASS
Forward
Elijah Price continues to be one of the top rim protectors in the Mountain West. Price's 89 total rebounds rank fourth in the Mountain West.

Price's effort is now the best single-game rebounding performance by a Nevada player under head coach
Steve Alford and the most by any Pack player since Cameron Oliver grabbed 21 boards against UNLV on Feb. 20, 2016.
