Nevada names Keith Price Wide Receivers coach

RENO, Nev. – Nevada Head Coach Jeff Choate added to his 2026 staff Friday, naming Keith Price to oversee the Wolf Pack wide receiver corps.

Price spent the past three seasons (2023-25) coaching wide receivers at Idaho State, a span over which the Bengals improved their win total each season and finished 6-6 in 2025. Under Price's tutelage, Bengal wide receivers played a key role in Idaho State's passing offense ranking fourth in the FCS at 302.8 yards per game as the team's top eight leaders in receiving yards came from the unit.

"I am really excited to have Keith on board and for what he is going to bring to our wide receiver room and our organization. He's a young man I got to know while he was playing quarterback at Washington under Coach Sarkisian--that's a really good pedigree to have from the offensive standpoint," Choate said. "He went on to play professionally for a number of years and has done this the right way. Keith started from scratch coaching at high schools in L.A., going to the junior college level, becoming a graduate assistant at Boise State then these last three years leading the wide receiver room at Idaho State. They have been prolific throwing the ball and he has been a big part of that. Keith's ability to recruit and develop talent is loud and clear—his energy is spectacular, he's a West Coast guy, a St. John Bosco grad, and he's going to help us own the L.A. area in the Mountain West."

Four different Bengal receivers finished 2025 with at least 500 receiving yards and three touchdowns, led by 919 yards and seven scores over 51 catches from All-Big Sky Honorable Mention Michael Shulikov. Tsion Nunnally was named to the All-Big Sky Second Team, leading the Bengals with 63 receptions, those going for 845 yards and six touchdowns. Damien Morgan (53 catches for 607 yards) and Ian Duarte (46 receptions for 521 yards) each had three scoring grabs, with Morgan joining Shulikov in being named All-Big Sky Honorable Mention.

"I appreciate Coach Choate for giving me this wonderful opportunity to be part of the Nevada program. The University of Nevada is a very special place and has a great football tradition. I am excited to be part of it and eager to get to work. Go Pack!" Price said.

Prior to his time in Pocatello, Price spent the 2021 and 2022 campaigns at Boise State, joining as a recruiting assistant before serving as a graduate assistant working with wide receivers. In 2022, multiple Bronco receivers shared in the spoils as Latrell Caples (51 catches, 549 yards), Billy Bowens (32 catches, 462 yards) and Eric McAlister (11 catches, 259 yards) each had four touchdown grabs while Stefan Cobbs had two over his 29 receptions.

Price was a two-time All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention over his three-year tenure (2011-13) as starting quarterback at Washington. He led the Huskies to three bowl games, including a victory over BYU in the 2013 Fight Hunger Bowl, and was a finalist for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award in 2013.

Following his Washington career, Price played four seasons (2014-17) in the CFL most notably with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the B.C. Lions before finishing his pro career with the Birmingham Iron of the Alliance of American Football (AAF).

Price began his coaching career overseeing quarterbacks at Lynwood High School in 2018 before joining the collegiate coaching ranks in the same capacity at L.A. Pierce College.
