SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The ITA Conference Masters began on Thursday, with Amahée Charrier splitting the day after winning the round of 32, and falling in the round of 16.
Charrier began her day taking down Willow Renton of Quinnipiac 6-3,6-4. From there, she advanced to take on the #1 seed, Aysegul Mert, from Georgia. Despite fighting hard through the entire match, Charrier came up short, 6-3,7-5.Â
She closes out the fall in the tournament, looking ahead to the spring season.Â
