RENO, Nev. - Nevada makes its first road trip of non-conference play against Santa Clara on Saturday at 4 pm.

The Pack returns home for a two-game homestand, hosting UC Davis on Nov. 18 and UCSB on Nov. 22 before heading to Palm Springs, Calif., for the 2025 Acrisure Series. The Pack is set to face Washington on Nov. 27 at 1:30 p.m., and the winner of the Colorado and San Francisco match on Nov. 28.
 
ABOUT SANTA CLARA
 
Santa Clara (3-0) is coming off an 87-68 victory over Xavier on Monday, Nov. 10. Elijah Mahi led the Broncos with 18 points, three assists, two rebounds, and a block. Mahi was joined in double digits scoring by Christian Hammond (15 points), Brenton Knapper (10 points), Sash Gavalyugov (10 points), and Allen Graves (10 points and 11 rebounds).
 
Santa Clara had its best shooting performance of the season, knocking down 55 percent (35-of-64) of their attempts while holding the Musketeers' offense to just 34 percent shooting.
 
NEVADA WINS IN OVERTIME AGAINST SOUTHERN ILLINOIS
 
Nevada improved to 3-0 in the 2025-26 season after securing an 86-81 win in overtime against Southern Illinois.
 
Despite the Salukis shooting over 43 percent from the field, the Pack held strong at home, shooting 34.6 percent overall, 24.2 percent from three, and 72.7 percent at the free-throw line.
 
Elijah Price posted a career night, matching his career high with 17 points and setting a new personal best with 19 rebounds, along with two blocks.
 
Tayshawn Comer paced the Pack with 23 points and seven assists, followed by Corey Camper Jr. with 20 points and seven boards, and Joel Armotrading with 11 points and five rebounds.
 
Tyler Rolison also made his mark, tying his career high with seven assists.
 
ELIJAH PRICE TAKING CARE OF THE GLASS
 
Forward Elijah Price continues to make his impact for the Pack. Price has recorded his second double-double of the season after his performance against the Salukis with 17 points and 19 rebounds.
 
Price's 19 rebounds against Southern Illinois is now the most for a Nevada player since Cameron Oliver (21 against UNLV on Feb 20, 2016)
 
The forward from Long Beach, Calif., is now ranked 10th in the NCAA with 12.3 rebounds per game.
 
TAYSHAWN COMER MAKING HIS MARK
 
Tayshawn Comer continues to make an impact for the Pack, scoring in double figures in all three games to start the season.
 
The Evansville transfer has totaled 52 points so far, averaging 17.3 per game, along with 11 assists, 11 rebounds, and four steals, to pace an offense scoring 80.3 points per game.
 
LEADING THE MOUNTAIN WEST
 
After a 3-0 start in the season, Nevada is ranked first in the conference in multiple categories.
 
With Joel Armotrading and Elijah Price taking charge, the Pack is leading the Mountain West in blocks per game, offensive rebounds, and rebounds per game.
 
Price (14 offensive and 12.3 per game) and Armotrading (10 offensive and 8.7 per game) are leading the Pack in rebounds and blocks with four each.
 
Price is leading the Mountain West, with 37 total rebounds, while Armotrading is sitting in fifth place, with 26.
 
ELIJAH PRICE NAMED PRESEASON ALL-MOUNTAIN WEST
 
Forward Elijah Price, who spent his redshirt freshman season (2024-25) at Fresno State before transferring to Nevada, was voted to the 2025-26 Preseason All-Mountain West Team. The team was announced during Mountain West Basketball Media Day in Las Vegas on October 23.
 
Price, who started his college career at Drake (2023-24), arrived in Reno after an impressive redshirt freshman season at Fresno State Bulldogs in 2024-25, where he started all 32 games and averaged 10.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.  He also posted 11 double-doubles—an achievement that set a program freshman record—while ranking among the top first-year students nationally in offensive rebounds per game.
