Box Score PHOENIX, Ariz. - Nevada volleyball closed out its road trip in Arizona on Saturday afternoon, falling to conference newcomer GCU in straight sets.
The Pack were unable to find a rhythm in the opening set as the Lopes took control. Nevada found itself down by as much as 12 and ultimately dropped the first, 25-13.
Into the second, the struggles continued for the Pack as the Lopes scored 12 straight points before Nevada could get on the board. The Pack weren't able to get going, falling in the second, 25-7.
The third set was stronger for the Pack. They kept it within five the whole way through and even tied it up late at 22. Despite the third set push, Nevada lost the final, 25-23.
Haylee Brown led in kills for the Pack with nine, while
Kinsley Singleton led in digs with 17.
Nevada will be back from for a four-game stretch starting on November 6, hosting Fresno State, at 6 PM.
