LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Day two of action from the Mountain West Fall Qualifier saw Nevada women's tennis come away with three victories, one in doubles and two in singles.
To open up the day, the team of
Silvia-Maria Costache and
Marlene Foerster downed Isabella Crossman and Dania Deaifi of GCU, 8-6, in the quarterfinal.
They advance to compete in the semifinal against Silver Bijslma and Violetta Borodina of Wyoming tomorrow at 9:30 AM.
In singles action, Amahee Charrier defeated Veronika Kliuch of UNLV, 6-2 and 6-0. She will move on to play Tereza Polakova in the semifinals tomorrow beginning at 10:30 AM.
The third win of the day went to Costache as she won the consolation round over Lea Malazdra from New Mexico in a 7-3 tiebreaker.
