RENO, Nev. – Nevada is set to face off against Eastern Washington in its second exhibition matchup at 1 p.m. inside Lawlor Events Center. This game marks the final tune-up before the Wolf Pack's official home opener against Louisiana Tech on November 4.
The Wolf Pack is coming off an 80-77 exhibition victory over Utah, where Nevada's offense was powered by Corey Camper Jr., Elijah Price, and Tayshawn Comer, who combined for nearly half of the team's total scoring.
Camper led the way with 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting, attacking the rim with efficiency and sealing the win with clutch free throws late. Price was a force inside, tallying 14 points and seven rebounds, including multiple key put-backs down the stretch. Comer added 14 points and three assists, controlling the tempo and creating scoring opportunities with his quick drives to the basket.
Last season, Eastern Washington finished 10-22 under head coach Dan Monson in his first year at the helm. The Eagles are aiming for a bounce-back campaign in the Big Sky Conference this year.
