RENO, Nev. -Â Nevada Football had six members named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, Tuesday.
Kai Arneson,
Austin Harnetiaux,
Jayden LaGrone,
Andrew Madrigal,
Tanner Vaughan, and
Adam Weynand each earned the honor. For Arneson, Madrigal, and Weynand, it was their second-consecutive selection.
To be eligible for consideration, nominees must have played in at least 90 percent or started two-thirds of their team's games during the season on the participation end, and, on the academic side, have a cumulative grade-point average (undergraduate and graduate, for those in graduate school) of 3.50 and be at least of sophomore standing.
The 2024 Academic All-District® Football teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
