RENO, Nev. - Nevada women's basketball hits the road to take on state rival, UNLV on Saturday, both teams looking for a bounce-back victory.
The Wolf Pack are coming off a tough loss to the Fresno State Bulldogs on Wednesday, 65-59. Nevada saw a record-breaking crowd of 10,689 in the annual When I Grow Up game.
Audrey Roden landed her name higher in the record book as she is now tied ninth all-time in steals with 144.
Imbie Jones led the Pack against the Bulldogs with a career high 16 points, while
Lexie Givens led in rebounding with eight, followed by Roden with seven.
Izzy Sullivan had 14 points, followed by
Victoria Davis with 12.
The Rebels haven't played in a week, their last game being on January 25. They suffered a one-point loss to San Diego State, 59-58. It was their first conference loss of the season.
Senior Macie James led with 13 points, while fellow senior Alyssa Brown recorded eight rebounds.
This will be the first time the teams have faced off this season, the second coming in a few weeks as Nevada will host UNLV on February 15 at 1 PM.
