BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Nevada soccer was on the road taking on CSU Bakersfield in one of two final games before the start of conference play, falling late in the game with a final of 1-0. 

On defense, the Wolf Pack shut down the Roadrunners through the entire first 45 minutes. Every shot that CSU Bakersfield got off was denied, Mia Collins tallying two saves in the first.

About 10 minutes into the second, Eva Wees got off a rocket of a shot, but it was deflected left by the Roadrunners' goalie. Nevada continued to put on the pressure as Trinity Sandridge headed a ball that landed just short of the goal. 

In the 75th minute, the Wolf Pack found themselves playing from behind as Gia Valenti put the Roadrunners in front, 1-0. 

The Wolf Pack continued to fire off shots and create opportunities, but weren't able to make the score even. 

Nevada will next play at Cal Poly on Sunday at 12 PM in their final non-conference game.
