Nevada Athletics partners with 10 Torr to introduce “Pack Punch”; Launch event set for Aug. 23

RENO, Nev. – Nevada Athletics has partnered with locally-owned 10 Torr Distilling and Brewing to introduce "Pack Punch" in a collaboration facilitated by CLC, the university's exclusive trademark licensing company.

Pack Punch is a mojito-inspired rum cocktail with marionberry, lime, and mint. The first rum cocktail of 10 Torr's canned cocktail line is perfect for all Pack fans, and will launch Friday, August 23, during an event from 5-7 p.m. at 10Torr, located at 490 Mill St. in Reno.

The launch event, taking place the evening prior to Nevada Football's own 2024 launch against new ACC member SMU, will include the Rice Box Kitchen food truck, live music, and the first tasting of Pack Punch.

Pack Punch will initially be available for purchase only at 10 Torr, with retail details and locations coming at a later date.

"We excited to launch Pack Punch with a partner in 10 Torr that is important to our community and with connections to our university," said Michael Harris, Associate Athletics Director, Revenue Generation and Fan Engagement. "This specially-branded product exemplifies our continued commitment to delivering unique Nevada merchandise to our passionate Wolf Pack fans."

10 Torr is a distillery and brewery owned by a University of Nevada alumnus. Rooted in Reno, 10 Torr has been a staple of the community for seven years now. 10 Torr features a wide range of products from spirits, to craft brews, and refreshing ready-to-drink cocktails.

"10 Torr is extremely excited to work with Wolf Pack Athletics and help bring the community together through supporting our own. Like they say, The strength of the wolf is the Pack," said 10 Torr's Ty Smith.

The announcement expands Nevada Athletics' co-branding partnership initiative with locally-owned businesses in the Reno-Tahoe community. Pack Punch joins a lineup with includes "Morning Howl" from Hub Coffee Roasters, the "Howlin'" Bold & Spicy barbecue sauce from Brothers Barbecue, the "Wolf Pack Bar" produced by Dorinda's Chocolates, and a commemorative, first-of-its-kind University of Nevada Sesquicentennial limited edition bourbon from Frey Ranch.
