RENO, Nev. - Seventy-nine current and former Nevada Wolf Pack student-athletes and seven members of the Cheer team have applied for graduation at the University of Nevada this spring. Commencement ceremonies for the University will be held Thursday through Saturday on the Main Quad.

The Wolf Pack athletics department has seen over 1,400 student-athletes graduate over the past 15 years.

The 79 graduates earned degrees in a wide range of fields, and achieved a number of academic and athletic honors. Among the group are Westfall Scholar Lauren Muff (Biology, Women's Soccer), Mountain West 1,650 freestyle champion and CSC Academic All-American Frederica Kizek (Swimming & Diving), 2024 Mountain West Co-Player of the Year Gabby Herrera (Softball), 2024 Mountain West Diver of the Year Melissa Mirafuentes (Swimming & Diving), 2024 Mountain West Javelin champion Emily Poole (Track & Field), 2022 Stanford Regional participant and 2024 All-Mountain West selection Leah John (Women's Golf), Mountain West team champions Josh Catacutan (Baseball, 2021) and Matheo Coupu and Loris Zisswiller (Men's Tennis, 2022), and two-time NCAA Tournament participants Kenan Blackshear, Nick Davidson, Daniel Foster, and Hunter McIntosh (Men's Basketball, 2023-24).
