ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Nevada Women's Tennis (8-8, 2-4 MW) was swept for the second time in conference play, falling 4-0 to the New Mexico Lobos. The Lobos (17-1, 6-0 MW) extended their lead at the top of the Mountain West standings with their eighth home win of the season.
 
Nevada remained competitive throughout the doubles session, keeping all three matches with in two games. Hsuan Huang and Maria Sodre defeated Léa Cakarevic and Marlene Foerster, 6-4 on court two, earning the early advantage in the doubles session. Sisters Maud and Bente Vandeputte clinched the doubles point for New Mexico, defeating Nevada's freshmen duo of Mia Miranda and Kennedy Robinson, 7-5. Jhang Katherine and Leonie Hoppe led Amahée Charrier and Anastasia Luneva in a tiebreaker 6-6 (3-2) when the doubles point was clinched.
 
Hoppe doubled the Lobos' lead with a dominant performance on court five over Robinson 6-0, 6-1. Jhang added to New Mexico's advantage with her 6-0, 6-2 victory over Charrier on court one. New Mexico clinched the dual on court four when M. Vandeputte defeated Luneva in a tight 6-4, 7-5 victory.
 
The three matches that went unfinished were all in a third set when the dual was called. Sarah O'Connor led Foerster 6-2, 3-6, 3-1 on court two at the clinch. On court six, Sodre led Boubaker after falling the first set, 2-6, 7-5, 1-0. Finally, Huang and Guebert were knotted at 3-3 in the final set when the dual concluded.
 
Nevada heads up to the US Air Force Academy to take on the Falcons (1-14, 0-7 MW) for the Pack's final road match of the season.
