SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Pack's explosive five-run, sixth inning propels Pack to comeback victory to secure the series over the Aztecs in a 5-2 manner.

The Wolf Pack is the first team in San Diego State's last 14 Mountain West series to take the series.

The Pack were held scoreless, down 2-0, until the sixth inning when the offense ignited with three singles in a row to load the bases, beginning with a leadoff single from
Chelie Senini.
Haley Painter came to the plate delivering a single followed by
Bridgette Gilliano singling to the pitcher.
Gabby Herrera recorded the first RBI of the game with a sacrifice fly scoring Senini.
Taryn Jenkins with a two RBI double down the left gave the Pack its first lead of the game.
Aaliyah Jenkins tacked on two more runs with a two-run shot over the left field wall, giving the Pack the 5-2 lead heading to the bottom of the sixth.

Jenkins' home run tied her for the most career home run in Nevada history with 37.

Carley Brown getting the start for the Pack, retired the Aztecs in order in the bottom of the sixth, holding on to the 5-2 lead.

Aztecs got the tying run to the plate in the seventh, but Brown's third strikeout of the game ended the game, solidifying the comeback victory for the Pack.

Brown went all seven innings, striking out three, walking four, allowing two runs on three hits.

The Pack returns to SDSU Softball Stadium for the final game of the series, tomorrow, Sunday, April 28
th with first pitch set for 12 P.M.
