RENO, Nev. – The Broncos four-run seventh inning too much for Pack comeback, falling in series finale, 8-3.
 
The Broncos put up two runs in the first inning with a two-run home run to right center. The Pack was able to cut the lead in half with a sacrifice fly from Gabby Herrera scoring Haley Painter.
 
The Pack took the lead in the third with Painter's 15th home run of the season in the form of a two-run shot over the right field wall.
 
Boise State reclaimed the lead in the fifth with a two RBI double, to put the Broncos in front 4-3. The Broncos broke the game open in the seventh starting with a two RBI single, and advancing to second on the throw. The Broncos followed with another two RBI single, stamping the 8-3 victory.
 
Carley Brown pitched a complete game, going seven innings, striking out five and walking one. Brown allowed eight runs on nine hits, all earned.
 
Notables:
  • Haley Painter hit her 15th home run of the season, tied for the second most ever in a single Nevada season.
  • Chelie Senini ties Gabby Herrera for the most hits this season with 67, the seventh most in Nevada history.
  • The Wolf Pack finish the 2024 season with a 12-3 home record. The 12 wins are tied for the fifth most in Nevada history. The team's .800 home winning percentage is the third best in Wolf Pack history.
  • Senini passes Danielle Patrick for the eighth most games played in Nevada history (213). Senini passes Britton Murdock for the eighth most games started in Nevada history (211).
  • Painter passed Megan Sweet for the fourth most total bases in a single Nevada season (124).
