LAS VEGAS – The Pack notched all their runs in the first inning then the bats went cold as UNLV takes Silver State Series.
 
The Pack came out swinging in the first inning, putting up three runs. Haley Painter reached base on a hit by pitch followed by Bridgette Gilliano doubling to left setting Painter up at third. Gabby Herrera delivered with a two RBI double to left center scoring Painter and Gilliano. Taryn Jenkins continued the hitting streak with an RBI double up the middle scoring Herrera, extending the Pack lead, 3-0.
 
The Rebels went on to score seven unanswered to win the game and take the series. UNLV added one run in the first and three in the second and third innings.
 
Blake Craft got her second start of the series in Sunday's finale. Craft went two innings, issuing no walks and allowing four runs on six hits.
 
Carley Brown came in for relief in the third inning. Brown didn't record an out in her outing. She walked two, and allowed three runs on three hits.
 
After Brown gave up a two-run home run, Clary came in in the third and finished out the game. Clary went four innings, struck out one, walked one and allowed no runs on three hits.
 
Up Next:
The Pack return home for a midweek doubleheader against Sacramento State, Tuesday, April 16 with first pitch set for 1 P.M. The second game of the doubleheader will start at approximately 3:30 P.M.
