FRESNO, Calif. – The Pack leave the first day of the Bulldog Classic with a 6-3 victory over CSUN and an 8-0 run rule win over San Diego.

Haley Painter and
Taryn Jenkins drew walks in the bottom of the first, setting
Gabby Herrera up for a two RBI triple to give the Pack the first lead of the day.
Bridgette Gilliano came up to bat with bases loaded in the second and was hit by pitch, bringing home
Tatum Maytorena, extending the Pack lead to three.
Blake Craft loaded the bases in the top of the third, giving up three runs to tie the game at three.
Painter delivered in the fourth with an RBI double, plating
Chelie Senini to reclaim to Pack lead, 4-3.
Chelie Senini had a leadoff single in the bottom of the sixth then successfully stole second. This set Painter up with a two-run shot over the center field wall for her seventh home run of the season, doubling the lead, 6-3.
Tyra Clary came in for relief in the fifth for
Blake Craft. In Craft's 100
th career game, she went four innings, striking out three, walking one, and allowing three runs on three hits.
Clary finished out the game going three innings with two strikeouts, no walks, and no runs on no hits.

Both teams retired the side in order in the first and second innings.
Haylee Engelbrecht in as designated player drew a leadoff walk to become the games first baserunner.
Maile Olsen's at-bat sparked the offense with a single followed by a Baile Clark single advancing the runners and loading the bases.
Chelie Senini recorded a sac fly scoring
Matlyn Leetch who came in to pinch run for Engelbrecht, putting the Pack up, 1-0. Painter cleared the bases with a two RBI double scoring B. Clark and Olsen, but was caught at third. Pack extend the lead, 3-0.
The Toreros hit two back-to-back singles to put two on the bases, but
Carley Brown was able to get out of the inning scoreless.
The fourth inning saw another three up, three down for both sides holding the score at 3-0.
Engelbrecht drew her second leadoff walk of the game which Olsen followed up with a double to left field. B. Clark bunted loading the bases for Senini. Senini notched three RBI with a bases clearing triple, doubling the Pack's lead, 6-0. Senini was able to score on an RBI groundout from Painter, adding the Pack's seventh run of the game.
Carley Brown retired the side in the bottom, holding the Torero's scoreless.
The Pack added another run in the sixth with an RBI single from Senini, plating Olsen.
Carley Brown pitched a six-inning shutout with one strikeout, no walks, and no runs on three hits.
Senini ended the day with five RBI, five hits, and three runs scored. Olsen went 3-3 with three runs scored.
Notables:
- Blake Craft passed Kendall Fritz for sixth all-time in Nevada career strikeouts.
- Craft passed Karlyn Jones for sixth all-time in Nevada career innings pitched.
- Without a hit or reaching base versus San Diego, Gabby Herrera's hit streak and on-base streak ends at 23 games. That was a career long for Herrera.
- Aaliyah Jenkins on-base streak ends at 17 games.
- Chelie Senini's three-hit game vs CSUN is her fifth of the season.
- Craft pitched in her 100th career game vs CSUN.
- Haley Painter reached base four times vs CSUN for the second time in her career.
