RENO, Nev. - Nevada skiing concludes the season at the NCAA Championships, while baseball opens their Mountain West slate in San Diego. Softball and tennis head to Northern California, wrapping up their non-conference schedules. Nevada swim sends seven to the TYR Pro Series. 

Baseball
Nevada Baseball (4-6, 0-0 MW) begins a wraparound weekend of four games in four days in San Diego Friday, opening Mountain West play with a three-game series at San Diego State (4-8, 1-2 MW).

The trip, and Nevada's season-opening stretch of 14-straight road games, comes to a close Monday as the Wolf Pack visits UC San Diego (9-3) for a 6 p.m. non-conference tilt.

All four games will be streamed, with the San Diego State series on the Mountain West Network (www.themw.com/watch) and Monday's game at UC San Diego on ESPN+.

All three games of the San Diego State series will be broadcast locally on 630 AM KPLY, while audio broadcasts of all four games can be found on The Varsity Network at www.thevarsitynetwork.com and through The Varsity Network app, with Josh Suchon on the call.

Men's Tennis
Nevada men's tennis (2-6) heads to Davis, California for three matches in two days at the Golden State Invitational. The Wolf Pack will take on San Francisco for a single match on Friday at 10 a.m. Nevada returns to Marya Welch Tennis Center Saturday morning for an away match against UC Davis at 10 a.m., followed by another neutral match against Hawai'i directly after the first match. 

Scouting the field, San Francisco is coming off a 5-2 win against Weber State, a victory that snapped a three-match skid. UC Davis boasts 114th-ranked Ryan Torres and his 13-8 record this season. The Aggies are on a three match winning streak, including wins at San Francisco and Hawai'i. The Rainbow Warriors hold a 4-6 season record including losses to Weber State and UC Davis. Hawai'i has only earned one win against DI opponent this season.

Women's Tennis
Nevada (3-3) finishes its non-conference schedule in California's Central Valley with three matches in Stockton and Turlock. Freshman Kennedy Robinson is coming off of her first career Mountain West Player of the Week award, as well as her third Freshman of the Week honor.

The Pack will play at Pacific on Saturday, March 9 at 11 a.m. before traveling down Golden State Highway for a doubleheader at Stanislaus State. The first match in Turlock is scheduled for 9 a.m., with the second match following at 1 p.m.

Softball
Softball is wrapping up its final tournament weekend before conference play, heading to Stanford then continuing on to Fresno, California for the Bulldog Classic. The Wolf pack is coming off a 3-1 weekend at the Amy S. Harrison Classic hosted by UC Riverside. Stanford enters this week at No. 8 by ESPN/ USA Softball after defeating No. 5 Georgia, 3-1 in nine innings this past weekend. The Wolf Pack will face San Diego, Rutgers, and CSUN at the Bulldog Classic.

Swim and Dive
Nevada swim is headed to Westmont, Illinois for the TYR Pro Series. The Pack sends seven qualifiers to compete at the FMC Natatorium. All sessions will be streamed on USA Swimming along with March 7-8 finals on Peacock. All Prelims sessions begin at 7 a.m. PST. and Thursday through Saturday's finals begin at 4 p.m. PST.

Melissa Mirafuentes and Lucia Gabino of Nevada dive will head to NCAA Zone E Diving Championships in Flagstaff, Arizona at the Wall Aquatic Center March 11-13. The duo qualified for all three diving events with their dominant performances at the Mountain West Championships this past month.
