RENO, Nev. - Nevada women's basketball returns to Lawlor Events Center to face UNLV in round two of the Silver State Series presented by America First Credit Union on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
The Pack will play in front of a national TV audience on FS1. John Ramey and Basketball Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman will be on the call.
Tickets start at just $5 for kids and $7 for adults online. Fans can get two tickets for just $9 total by using the code "LEAPYEAR" here. The offer is good through Friday.
Nevada will also be providing concession specials for Saturday's game. The Pack will be offering $4 hot dogs, $5 32 oz soda and $6 16 oz domestic all game long.
Saturday's game will be available to listen on KPLY 630 AM. Emmy award-winning broadcaster Larry Burnett will be on the radio play-by-play once again for Nevada women's basketball, where fans can also listen online through the Varsity Network.
ON NATIONAL NOTICE
FS1 will broadcast Nevada women's basketball's Feb. 24 game at Lawlor Events Center against defending Mountain West champions, UNLV, at 6:30 p.m. Round two of the 2024 Silver State Series presented by America First Credit Union will be the lone Mountain West women's basketball game on national television in February. The game will be Nevada women's basketball's first nationally televised contest since Nov. 28, 2017 (vs. No. 1 UConn).
AWESOME AUDREY
Audrey Roden, a member of the 2021-22 Mountain West All-Freshman Team, picked up her first Mountain West Player of the Week award on Feb. 19. Shooting 51.9 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from 3-point range this past week, Roden came up with a game-ending steal and layup with 12 seconds to go in overtime that helped Nevada defeat Boise State on Feb. 17 in addition to averaging 18 points per game on the week. The two-time Mountain West Scholar-Athlete leads Nevada in scoring, assists and steals and is in the top 15 in scoring, rebounding and steals among Mountain West players in conference games. Roden is less than 100 points away from becoming the 15th 1,000-point scorer in Nevada women's basketball history.
INCREDIBLE IZZY
Freshman Izzy Sullivan was named Mountain West Freshman of the Week by the conference for the fourth time in her collegiate career on Feb.19. Leading Nevada in made 3-pointers, Sullivan has the most Freshman of the Week awards by a Nevada player in program history. Sullivan is currently in the top 10 among Mountain West players in made 3-pointers and has registered nine double-digit scoring games in conference play, including a pair of 20-point outings. Sullivan averaged 16 points per game in Nevada's two wins this past week, leading Nevada in scoring with 19 points in the Pack's 68-65 overtime win against Boise State on Feb. 17.
RISING IN THE RANKS
Nevada currently ranks in the top four in the Mountain West in several categories. Nevada is second in the conference in offensive rebounds per game (12.43) and in steals per game (8.43). The Pack is currently third in 3-point field goal percentage defense (29.1%), offensive rebounding percentage (31.7%) while ranking fourth in scoring offense (64.7), turnover margin (+2.64) and rebounding offense (37.7).
SCOUTING UNLV
UNLV has once again risen to the top of the Mountain West standings, posting a 13-1 record in conference play to go with a 23-2 overall record. After losing in last-second fashion to New Mexico, UNLV has responded by winning seven consecutive games.
Desi-Rae Young once again leads UNLV in scoring and rebounding, nearly averaging a double-double of 19.1 points per game and 9.6 rebounds per game. Kiara Jackson is also an added scoring threat with 11.2 points per game this season.

Nevada women's basketball will be one of 11 teams competing for the Mountain West's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. First round action for the women's tournament begins March 10 and the championship game takes place on March 13.
